Meet the team

Gareth Mepham

Our managing director Gareth started out as a carpentry apprentice and worked for an extremely experienced carpenter who taught him everything from cut and pitch roofing to bespoke cabinetry. Now mostly office based, meeting clients and writing out quotes he manages the company with a broad view.

Toby Wood

Toby, also a director trained as a carpenter since leaving high school. He specialises in all aspects of carpentry and joinery with a keen eye for detail and manages the team on which ever site he is on. Toby will liaise with Gareth & Damian on a day-to-day basis ensuring that all jobs are running smoothly and a dynamic plan is in place.

Damien White

Damien is Mepham & Wood’s contracts manager. He is in charge of forward planning, client liaison, material organisation and generally ensuring that everything is going to plan. Damien is adept at organisation and project planning and is often complimented on going over and above to ensure client satisfaction.

Chris Ling

Chris is another carpenter, very hard working and professional. He will often help out our other trades or join in the demolition or groundworks process along with the rest of the team. Chris is our longest serving member of staff with over 8 years showing his dedication to the company.

Casey Shaw

Casey is a general builder, he specialises in brickwork and structural alterations but undertakes all tasks from groundworks and demolition to helping out with carpentry, insulation and plaster boarding. Often receiving comments on his manors and ability to get through hard tasks without complaint.

Oscar Gunston

Oscar is our carpentry apprentice, he has been with us for 2 years now and is very hardworking and reliable. He has shown a great interest in the building trade and is a valuable member of the team.

Tom Mepham

Tom is our newest member of staff and has been with us for around a year. Tom helps out across the board wherever he is needed. He is very organised and personable.
